Wisley once had a marvellous collection of mature Platycerium perched on the side wall of the old greenhouse, where they were not disturbed.Many of them have reappeared in the new greenhouse but they have yet to find a permanent location, and get moved about rather too frequently to look settled. Unfortunately this beautiful (lousy picture, but trust me it was beautiful) specimen has yet to re-appear, which is not a good sign.
